Privacy Policy

This explains what information I collect through rachellsmith.com, why, and what I do with it.

Who I am
This site is run by Rachel Dale, trading as Rachell Smith Studio. For anything about your data, email studio@rachellsmith.com.

What I collect

• Orders: your name, email, delivery address and order details. Payments are handled by Squarespace. I never see your card details.

• Newsletter: your name and email, if you sign up.

• Emails: anything you send me when you get in touch.

• Site visits: basic information about how the site is used, through cookies, only if you accept them.

Why
To make and deliver your order, to send the newsletter you asked for, to reply to you, and to keep the records the law requires.

Who else sees it
Only the services needed to run the site and fulfil orders: Squarespace (website, payments and email), The Print Space (printing and delivery), delivery companies, and my accountant. Some of these are based outside the UK, and they protect your data under UK law.

How long I keep it
Order records for six years, for tax. Newsletter details until you unsubscribe. Emails for as long as needed to reply.

Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or stop the newsletter at any time using the link in each email. Email studio@rachellsmith.com. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies
The site uses cookies to see how it’s used. You can accept or decline them when you first visit, and change this using Manage cookies.
